Chair with flair

I am a firm believer in the key to home organisation is: a place for everything and everything in its place. So... I wish I could actually find a place for everything and put everything away. I don't think that will ever happen, but it is easier now in this little corner of my home. But... it still doesn't vacuum and mop itself.

I made this chair bag using a "how to" pamphlet from Spotlight and some fabric from this stash. As soon as I saw this fabric peeking out at me from the plastic bag, I knew I loved it, but I had no idea what to do with it. It is a medium weight fabric I would say. I now have a short table runner in this fabric as well from when I didn't measure my chair properly the first time around. Hehehe.

Wow what a great idea. Did you have these when you were at school? In fact my old primary school still uses them. I never thought to use them at home. And the fact you have a matching table runner...fabulous!

I love this, it reminds me of grade 1 when I had a chair cover at school, ahhh, those were the days :)

Hope you don't mind if I post this on my blog. I just think it's such a great practical idea.

I'm getting obsessed with trying to find a place for everything at our place as well...if it has no place, out it goes!

What a brilliant idea! And so well-executed. Love it!
Thanks for the MADE comment. Yes, I just kind of came up with a pattern from some other clothes I have. You can do it too! It's not hard, and once you figure it out, you'll start to feel like you never want to buy anything again (like you're getting ripped off....sort of :) )
GREAT picture on your blog header.
